In anticipation for my website going live, I tried to come up with my very first blog post. I had six categories to choose from – a bit ambitious of me to write about six different topics. Then I realized that I needed to really think about what I wanted to accomplish with this new writing venture. I decided that my first post for each category would serve as an introduction to that particular topic.
It seemed to make sense to post my inaugural article under “Reflections.”
Reflection: “serious thought or consideration.”¹
Words are an important part of our daily existence. We use words to communicate. Some words build up. Others tear down. Where we get our words and how we use them can determine what impact we have on those who receive them.
The most important written words we will ever encounter come from the Bible. For this section of my blog, my hope is to share my reflections on the written words of Yahweh and how they have touched and changed my life.
It is also my hope that those of you who visit my blog will gain a greater understanding of the tremendous love our Heavenly Father Yahweh has for each one of us. He sent His Son, Yeshua, the Word from the beginning, as a way for us to have eternal life.
Words are important. The writer of Ecclesiastes wrote, “The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.” (Ecclesiastes 12:10, NIV)
It is my prayer that Yahweh will always give me “just the right words” to bring comfort, encouragement and inspiration to all of you who have taken the time to visit.
Thanks for your time – And welcome, welcome to my blog!
